This week, in UOI, we had a session with Ms. Hope where students learned about marketing and advertising, followed by hands-on activities to explore how advertisements influence our thoughts. At the end of the session, students had fun creating their own “GUS” projects, which can be used to promote media within our school community. It was an engaging way for students to connect learning with real-world application

This week in Moths, students learned to read line graphs, solve related questions, and understand how to gather information from the graph. They also reviewed key concepts studied throughout the term to reinforce their learning.
Next week: students will continue working on data handling, exploring different types of graphs and how to interpret them
Each Friday, activities will be shared via SeeSaw, including weekly spelling words. Students are expected to return their completed home learning by the following Friday. This can be submitted in one of three ways: directly on SeeSaw, as a physical copy, or in a home learning journal (which we can provide if preferred).
In addition, we highly recommend that students read every day at home. Daily reading builds fluency, strengthens comprehension, and nurtures a lifelong love of books.
Thank you for supporting your child in developing positive and consistent learning habits.
Spelling: Practice your words, we will have a spelling test on Friday.
Maths: Choose your spice level and complete the reflection on Term 2, focusing on: addition and subtraction, angles and degrees, common factors, and simplifying fractions. All of these will be reflected on in the end of term assessment taking place next week.
