What an amazing Bodyology Mini Exhibition Showcase our Grade 4 students presented! Students did a fantastic job confidently sharing their learning, creativity, and knowledge about the different body systems. It was wonderful to see them communicate their ideas with such enthusiasm and pride while engaging thoughtfully with visitors and classmates.
Thank you to all the parents who joined us to support and celebrate the students’ learning journey. We are incredibly proud of all the effort, teamwork, and growth they demonstrated throughout this project!

Seeking Knowledge طَلَبُ العِلم
Sky has shown great commitment to online learning , consistently completing his work even while travelling and staying actively engaged in his studies. He has demonstrated responsibility by consistently finish tasks and participating in class activities.
This week, students worked hard preparing for their Bodyology Mini Exhibition Showcase. They created and organised their trifold displays, including their lines of inquiry, explanations of their 3D body system models, ATL skills, and learner profile connections. Students showed creativity, communication, and collaboration as they prepared to confidently share their learning with others. Students also created and interpreted pie charts based on research connected to their chosen body systems. They explained their data clearly and made meaningful connections between research and mathematical representation. Additionally, students focused on completing, editing, and polishing their summative writing tasks. They worked on improving sentence structure, scientific vocabulary, and adding references to support their research and information writing.
Next week: students will revisit key concepts to help strengthen and review students’ knowledge and skills. This will be an opportunity to consolidate their understanding, clarify any misconceptions, and further practise important learning from across the unit.
Central idea: The human body consists of a network of interconnected systems.
Specified Concepts: Causation, Function and Connection
Lines of inquiry:
How body systems work
The interconnectedness of body systems
Maintaining a healthy body
Learner Profile: Thinker and Balanced
Home Learning
Each Friday, activities will be shared via SeeSaw, including weekly spelling words. Students are expected to return their completed home learning by the following Friday. This can be submitted in one of three ways: directly on SeeSaw, as a physical copy, or in a home learning journal (which we can provide if preferred).
In addition, we highly recommend that students read every day at home. Daily reading builds fluency, strengthens comprehension, and nurtures a lifelong love of books.
Thank you for supporting your child in developing positive and consistent learning habits.
Spelling: Practice your words, we will have a spelling test on Tuesday (this is a new test day due to our new schedule)
Maths: Practice pie charts! Answer the questions by reading and calculating the chart. Make sure you complete the task for
all students about Roman numerals.
Literacy: Practice portmanteau. What two words can you combine to create a new word? Writing: Write a fiction story about the Louvre Abu Dhabi following the prompt in the homework.
Science: Please use the link provided to access the quiz and complete it as part of your review.
