Dear Chapter Leads,
Where did this summer go?! Here's the scoop when it comes to all things Culture First chapters. We've got insights, resources, and updates to support your journey as culture-first leaders. We're sharing best practices, facilitating connections, and amplifying the incredible work happening across our global chapters.
Culture First Global is Back!!
Culture Amp's Culture First Global is back! This is Culture Amp's pinnacle global event series where community connects on all things culture at work. This year's series will be covering all three regions (N. America / EMEA / Asia Pacific) back to back and is on November 1st / 2nd.
Apply to Host a Culture First Global In-Person Viewing Party 👀 🎊
Just because Culture First Global is designed to be virtual this year, we didn't want to miss an opportunity to create in-person community connection. Community members will meet to watch the live streamed Culture First Global conference together while learning and engaging in some interactive community building activities. These were a hit last year and we are excited to host a few in-person viewing parties in each of the three regions.
These will take some additional effort to plan and execute so we'd like for you express your interest in hosting one by applying.
Below is a link to a video explaining more about this opportunity!

Putting Learning Into Action Sessions
We want to share a great idea with you all for an easy session you can host. One of our principles is 'putting learning into action.' We want to hear how community members are applying what they are learning into their lives and workplaces!
Many chapters have started to host 'Putting Learning Into Action' sessions following their events or workshops. The idea is to bring back your community members that attended and have them to reflect on the core insights that are still resonating for them and sharing their success stories and challenges in applying the learnings. These take very little preparation and are a great way to keep your community members engaged.
Here's a simple 45 - 60 min agenda to follow:
Welcome (5 min)
share the purpose of the gathering
share our purpose and principles as a community
Connect (10 - 15 min)
Timed group introductions and
Have them share something that is still resonating with them
If they didn't attend, have them share something they have learned recently
Work (20 - 30 min)
Have the group share success stories or challenges in applying their learnings
Action (5 min)
Have them reflect on what's next
Close (2 min)
One word or one sentence check out for how they are feeling now

Zoom Backgrounds
Our design team has created virtual backgrounds that have been customized for your chapters that you are welcome to use for your virtual events.
You'll find them under your chapter name in the 'Chapter Branding' folder here.
You're welcome to use the generic ones below as well.

The Bevy Organizer App
It's very important to check your attendees in for your events. This engagement metric is a very important metric to determine the success of our community. The number of people showing up over and over again isn't as important as the community members that are continuing to show up over and over again at our gatherings.
It can be easy to forget to do this especially for your in-person events.
Bevy has created an Organizer App you can download on your phone!
Here are instructions on how to download and use the Bevy Organizer App.
