About The Project
Our project was made to understand what dictates women's fashion by reflecting on trends of the past. This project is an analysis of women's fashion through the decade (1900’s-2000’s) that focuses on body types, styles, and observations of the period as well as an important trend starter that affected women’s fashion during the time.

Hello! My name is Elina and I am a sophomore at Lane. I originally chose to take Women in Lit because there were no other electives left, but after actually taking the class I realized how fun it is. The interesting texts we read and the free discussions we have made this class really enjoyable. I would 100% recommend taking this class if you can! We chose this project because fashion history is a topic we've always been interested in, and even had to change our initial question by how much info was available. We hope you enjoy the project as much as we did making it!

Hi! I'm Mickey and I'm a senior at Lane. I love to read and watch TV, and I crochet basically all day, every day. I decided to take Women in Lit after going to the Women in Lit Fest freshman year. We rarely read pieces written by women in core English classes, and I love this class because it gives us a space to do just that.
