Thunder Academy is a developmental sports program for grades 4 and 5. We will meet at the same time as After School Activities, but Thunder Academy will take place on both Tuesday and Thursday to offer more opportunities for skills development. because of this, students participating in this program are not able to participate in other session 2 activities.

Design, Code, Create, and Play allows students to acquire the skills, attitudes, and fluencies they need to be flexible in a changing world. In this student-driven unit, participants will learn how to use different design approaches to create games, code apps, or program something completely innovative and new.

Battle of the Books

Join Battle of the Books! BOB is for grades 3-5 students. If you like books, quizzes and friendly competition then this is the ASA for you. Everyone is welcome. Participants will compete from a list of questions from a preselected list of books. Students will work in teams and will be expected to read at least 2-3 books each. The final battle will be held in March 2026 and will involve a field trip to BIS. This ASA requires participation in session 2 AND session 3.

Through these 5 sessions, we'll learn how to make the most fluffy, yummy and healthy mug cake from basic ingredients in your house, within just 10 minutes. You'll also learn how to keep your kitchen clean after you cook. You can enjoy these delicious mug cakes while finishing your homework and also share them with your family as dessert after dinner!
