The Story of Christmas

Really, what's the big idea about Christmas? Where did it originate? Why is it so special even today? What does the Bible say about Christmas? In this ASA, we will explore more of why we celebrate Christmas through reading the Bible and singing Christmas songs. If you like singing Christmas music, if you want to learn more about the Bible and/or if you like listening to stories while eating cookies, this ASA is for you!
Crochet/Yarn Crafts

Students will learn crochet basics, including tying a slip knot, chain stitch, single crochet and double crochet. We will do some fun projects and crafts with yarn.
Performing Ensemble

The Performing Ensemble will sing and play instruments at Christmas Time. Students will perform at the Christmas Concert in December. Students might also have an opportunity to perform outside the Concordia Community!
Breakout Box1

This is for students who wanted to do "Escape the Classroom" during the 1st ASA but did not get to sign up. Students from the first "Escape the Classroom" SHOULD NOT sign up for this one. Use all your skills and knowledge to find ways to solve clues and break in the box! You will race against other students to be the first to break in. How fast can you crack the clues and break the box??
Drama: Reader's Theater
