Paintings Galore

Painting Galore is for students who would like to explore the different ways they can paint. We will paint with acrylic, watercolor, tempera and oil on paper and canvas. You get to bring home all your art works.
Performing Ensemble

The Performing Ensemble will sing and play instruments together. Students will perform at the Spring Showcase in May. They will also have a chance to help with a special Showcase Project for this year’s theme “Make a Difference.”
Breakout Box 2!

The classroom will turn into an academically-focused escape room where players use teamwork and critical thinking to solve a series of challenging puzzles in order to open a locked box. This is a follow-up to Breakout Box activity. While having participated in Breakout Box before would be helpful, it is not necessary.

Partners in Slime

Do you like to make slime? Are you already an expert? Let's put the two together. 5th grade students will take the lead in this ASA and help teach a 3rd grade partner how to make slime. AND the partnerships will work together to try a variety of slime challenges like making the biggest slime bubble? How far can you stretch your slime before it breaks? How much can your slime hold? You will truly be partners in slime!!!!

Dodgeball

Students will learn how to play the game of Dodgeball, a fun and active game that also helps children stay healthy and fit. Dodgeball builds teamwork, teaches sportsmanship, and helps develop children's reflexes, agility, balance, and hand-eye coordination.

In this course, students will learn how to make memes, GIFS, and learn other design skills that will help them create powerful digital presentations. Students will also explore the app Read & Write that can be used for reading and writing. Each session will bring something new!
