Coding with Micro:bits

This ASA is an opportunity for students to code with Micro:bits. Micro:bits are small computers that can be programmed to light up, create sound, send and receive radio waves, and more! Students will learn basic skills and pick a project based on their interests. 

Fun in Baking and Cooking

***DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS ACTIVITY IF YOU PARTICIPATED IN SESSION 1*** From measuring cups, mixing ingredients to creating your own recipes - Know the basic skills in cooking and baking as you prepare your own meal. Muffins, pasta, cookies, sandwich are some of the food that we are going to make. Don't forget to bring your own apron and get ready to enjoy our time in the kitchen! (This ASA is for students who weren't able to join the 1st session.)

In this ASA, we will relax as we read and listen to calm music. Student can read books they bring from their classroom, borrow from the teacher, or look for specific books from the library. Time to Drop Everything And Read!

The Christmas Story

Really, what's the big idea about Christmas? Where did it originate? Why is it so special even today? What does the Bible say about Christmas? In this ASA, we will explore more of why we celebrate Christmas through reading the Bible and singing Christmas songs. If you like singing Christmas music, if you want to learn more about the Bible and/or if you like listening to stories while eating cookies, this ASA is for you! 

Soccer

ASA soccer is a fun opportunity for your children to develop their soccer skills and their understanding of the game. We will also focus on teaching key values like respect, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. Each session will begin with teaching basic skills and end with a friendly match that allows our students to apply their skills in an actual soccer game.
