Calling all actors and dancers! Help bring to life "The First Journey" through drama and movement! Join Fine Arts Academy to play an important role in the Spring Showcase music program on April 26th! Students will choreograph movements, act out scenes, and help create and maintain props for the program.
We will meet at the same time as After School Activities, but Fine Arts Academy will take place on both Tuesday and Thursday to offer more opportunities to prepare for Fine Arts Day. because of this, students participating in this program are not able to participate in other session 4 activities.

Read Aloud Magic

Something magical happens when groups of people read out loud together or when we listen to someone read aloud. It can create a shared experience, highlights the stories that can shape our values, and place literature at the center of our lives, even if just for an hour. Reading aloud builds vocabulary, improves comprehension and active listening. It also strengthens fluency and can improve working memory.
Vietnamese traditional games

In the past, it seemed like not a single Vietnamese child who did not know such things as mandarin square capturing, bamboo jacks.These games made the kids play the whole afternoon and forgot their nap. They form groups to play and play anywhere. They laughed and shouted, the virtual noise broke the silence. A child’s childhood is associated with these village folk games.

In the book, The Mysteries of Harris Burdick, an author goes missing. All he’s left behind are a series of pictures with captions that are ideas for separate books. During the ASA, students will choose pictures from the book to inspire fiction stories they will write and illustrate.
