Paper Circuits

What is a paper circuit? A paper circuit is a low-voltage electric circuit that is created on paper or cardboard using conductive copper tape, LEDs and a power supply such as a coin-cell battery. This ASA is a great way to learn about electricity or just make a light-up greeting card for your friend.

Escape the Classroom

Sports and Books

Each time we meet we will investigate and play a new sport. Each week, we will learn what we can about the Sport of the Week through library and Internet sources (fiction and non-fiction). We will also investigate by playing the sport, sometimes inside and sometimes outside. Possible sports to explore: golf, basketball, soccer, badminton, cricket, rugby, cross-country, skydiving (just kidding). Suggestions of topics will be voted on by the group.

Paper Foldables 3D Style

Fun-to-make, Paper Foldables are paper craft paper toys and characters you can easily download, print, cut and assemble. We may also try out some origami along the way.

Soccer

Each session will begin by practicing football fundamentals to help each player develop their basic skills. We will then separate into teams and play some friendly matches. This is a non-competitive activity, and all levels of young footballers are welcome.
