Using mallet instruments from the music room, students will develop their music skills of playing, listening, improvising, and working as a team. A special presentation of their hard work will be shared at the end of Music Academy. We will meet at the same time as After School Activities, but Music Academy will take place on both Tuesday and Thursday to offer more opportunities for skills development. because of this, students participating in this program are not able to participate in other session 4 activities.
Board Games

In this ASA, you’ll learn the basics of video editing using the Clipchamp online editing program. You’ll discover how to import and edit videos, adjust sound, add text overlays, and a whole lot more. This is a great ASA for aspiring YouTubers or for anyone who wants to develop a new tech skill set.

Athena in Action for girls in grades 3, 4 & 5

Girls, are you looking for a way to be joyful, healthy and confident? Growing up is not always easy, so we will help you to build some strategies to navigate that process. This six session ASA will explore teamwork, defining priorities, positive self-talk, exploring emotions, empathy, making friends, building positive connections, communication, celebrating and sharing our strengths and serving others. Our final session on May 27th, will be an extended session going from 3 until 5 p.m. so that you can participate in a non-competitive culminating event of a 5k and celebration.
DIY Club
