Celebrating Moments That Matter
Celebrating Moments That Matter
This week, we had the joy of celebrating our incredible Middle School Band Concert, and we couldn’t be prouder of our teachers Jenny, Adrián, Santiago, and Johendry and students. Watching them perform with such confidence, skill, and passion reminded us of the power of the arts and the dedication that goes into preparing moments like these. Thank you to our teachers for guiding, inspiring, and bringing out the very best in our musicians.
We also want to congratulate our Drama students and Julia for the amazing play they brought to life. Their energy, creativity, and commitment to storytelling were evident in every moment on stage. It was inspiring to see our students step into their roles with such confidence and heart, and Julia’s thoughtful guidance made it all come together beautifully.
As we move closer to the holidays, it has also been meaningful to see our team enjoying time together, reflecting on the year, and looking ahead with optimism. This semester has brought plenty of change, and we are truly grateful for how every member of this team has embraced each shift with a positive, growth-minded attitude.
We deeply value your effort, your dedication, and the heart you bring to Middle School every day. Wishing you a restful break, joyful holidays, and an energizing start to 2026.
Need-to-Know Information
No afternoon meetings or Extra help scheduled for MS during the MIT week (Jan. 5th - 9th)
As we prepare for our upcoming peer observation cycle, Vale would like to share a brief update. Our school continues to use ELEOT as the framework for these observations, and we will soon hold a refresher session with Cassie to review the process together.
To get ready, teachers are asked to complete the following steps:
Review the ELEOT presentation from last year to refresh key concepts.
Complete this form indicating:
The areas you want to focus on for your professional growth.
The colleagues you would like to observe during this cycle.
Your selections will help ensure that the experience is meaningful, intentional, and aligned to your goals.
Thank you for your collaboration and ongoing commitment to continuous improvement.
Important information to know:
Each teacher will receive a folder containing the information required (Students' Lists, PEEP Lists, and Ok cards: Green and Red) when moving to a designated security zone. Please keep this folder accessible at all times and ensure it is easy to locate for anyone who may be substituting in your class during a drill or an emergency.
Having this folder readily available helps us respond quickly, stay organized, and maintain the safety of our students and staff.
As you all know, we put out a survey at the end of our Metacognition professional development experience in November. Please help us increase the response rate so that we can more meaningfully use this data. You can find the survey link here.
Thank you so much!
