This trip to Tanzania made me reflect on many things. Not only because of all the beauty we had the privilege to see, but also because of the difficult realities we were able to witness and connect with.

What moved me the most was the feedback we received from our students: their enthusiasm, their determination to make a difference, their curiosity, and ultimately their deep sense of empathy.

I only wish they could feel that same freedom and spontaneity every day, and that their biggest concern would never have to be whether a family will have something to eat that day. There were moments when some of them chose not to eat so that their food could be shared with someone else. They left behind clothes as donations. They made every person they encountered feel important, equal, and welcome.

And yes, this is my purpose, to create more moments like these as often as we can.
