Celebrating Moments That Matter
Celebrating Moments That Matter
This week, we unveiled a little surprise we had been keeping under wraps, our new Family Wall. It’s more than a display; it’s a reminder that our Middle School is, in many ways, a family. The people who appear in those photos are the ones who ground us, cheer for us, and help us show up every day for our students.
Building this wall together matters. It reflects who we are, where we come from, and the community we create when all our stories come together. Bit by bit, photo by photo, we’re shaping a shared puzzle that represents the heart of our school.
As we continue adding to it, please remember to bring your family picture so we can make sure every member of our Middle School community is represented.

For 6th and 7th grade, students and teachers will be able to enjoy helado de paila near the MS Office during break. We hope this small celebration adds to the spirit of the week.
After break, please make sure to share the following information with your students about Fiestas de Quito and our focus on Leyendas. These activities are designed to deepen their understanding of this traditional and culturally significant festivity. 8th Grade
Every year, our 8th graders are invited to attend the Balcones event presented by our High School students. This year, we would love for you to join them and be part of this incredible tradition.
The event will take place on Wednesday, December 4th at 8:00 a.m. in the PAC.
We kindly ask you to join your students, support with behavior expectations, and follow any instructions provided by the High School team during the event.
In the middle of the presentation, there will be a short break for MS teachers and students to enjoy their helado de paila (near the MS office) before returning to the PAC for the rest of Balcones and then moving to the Rotonda to vote. We will share guidance for transitions and timing so everything runs smoothly.
A message from Vale regarding Peer Observations - December and January
Dear Teachers,
As you know, our school uses ELEOT for peer observations. We will soon have a training session with Cassie to review how to conduct these observations. Before that, we’d like to give you a quick preview of what’s coming.
Please complete the following steps:
1. Review the ELEOT presentation from last year to refresh your understanding.
2. Fill out this form to indicate:
a. The areas you would like to focus on for your professional growth.
b. The colleagues you would like to observe during the upcoming cycle.
Your input will help us make this process meaningful and tailored to your needs.
Thank you for your collaboration and commitment to continuous improvement!
