Starting November to January, please expect Moni or Marga to walkthrough your class as part of the informal observations of S1.
You will receive an email or meeting invitation providing feedback after the walkthough.

Please check the following document, to see the person assigned to you for your observation, date and time. Follow these steps
1. Contact the person you are observing
2. Bring a pencil and notebook to take notes on your observation
3. A post peer observation feedback/ reflection should take place template.
4. Your peer observation reflection should be uploaded to YO Staff Development.

December 4th - half day for students and teachers. December 5th Holiday.

During break time at the Palm Tree, Music teachers will make us dance and sing to celebrate Quito in the best way!
11:00 - 11:45 CELEBRATING OUR TRADITIONS!
Our Room Parents will be leading an activity to celebrate Fiestas de Quito and learn more about our traditions.
2nd Grade: Leyendas. Students start at their class and rotate once to the class next door:
Price > Schumann
Schumann > Debussy
Debussy > Schubert
Schubert > Haydn
Haydn > Price
3rd Grade: Traditional games. This will take place at the covered court. There will be a spot designated for each game (one per parallel). Students rotate every 7 minutes.
4th Grade: Cuarenta tournament. This will take place at each class. RP will teach students about the game and enjoy a fun tournament.
5th Grade: Typical food. Parents will explain about a typical food and provide a sample. Students start at their Homeroom class and rotate to the class next door:

Haendel > Ravi
Ravi > Salgado
Salgado > Haendel
The communication to parents was sent out yesterday. Please follow up with RP to see if they have any questions about the activities. Students are encouraged to wear blue, red or dress up as Chulla Quiteños and Quiteñas bonitas.
