Dear Team,
What an eventful week we've shared together! So many great things to highlight, especially the 2nd grade concert!
We want to give a special shout-out to Ma. Carmen and Xavi for an incredible 2nd-grade concert! It was a magical night, full of laughter and pride for Quito’s traditions. The students' performance was truly outstanding! We deeply admire how each year you become more creative and confidently raise the bar even higher.
We also want to celebrate the amazing collaboration with Art and Spanish. Javi and Nana, we can only imagine how much students enjoyed creating those beautiful representations of our city—and how much fun they had sneaking in a few aliens! 👽 The Spanish “Guía Turística” was a wonderful showcase of students’ learning about our city. Thank you, Nicky, Isa, and Mariale, for designing such connected and meaningful learning experiences for our kiddos.
A huge thank you to Juanita, Clau, Valen, Belén, Pao, Grace, Ana, Mica, and Meli for your invaluable support throughout the entire process. A show like the one we experienced could not have happened without every one of you!
Last but not least, thank you to all Spanish teachers, teacher assistants, the support team, and FAA for your help receiving bus and car riders at the main gate, and for guiding students during dismissal to ensure their safety. The way our school community came together to adapt to Monday’s logistical changes truly demonstrated our teamwork, flexibility, and commitment to supporting one another.
Enjoy the long weekend and ¡Que viva Quito!
