CLASS T-SHIRTS
Our amazing Menor's Family Day will take place on October 26th and so we need to get our class t-shirts ready!
We want to ensure that the design process includes all children's voices. Also, we will include Learner Ambitions as the theme to design the t-shirt and foster these global skills. Please see some guidelines that will help you scaffold this process with your Core / Homeroom class:
Having a printed white t-shirt template will be very helpful, so students can take turns and draw the elements they want to add to their class shirt. An A3-sized template will be even better.
Each class will be assigned to a Learner Ambition and a color (see chart below)
Discuss what it means to be Collaborative / Critical thinker/ Compassionate / Committed/ Creative / Curious how does this Learner Ambition look like in action.
Have students brainstorm images, elements, words or quotes that come to their mind when they think of these global skills, that would look good in the t-shirt.
Ask for volunteers who can draw and color on the shirt template.
Remember that students may add a nickname at the back of their shirt but they cannot add their full name for safeguarding reasons.
MAC team will share school Core Values and Bear logos with parents to be added when sent to have t-shirts made. (Just FYI)
*This process can be a great opportunity to make a commitment to live by the Learner Ambition!
The design must be shared with Room Parents by next Friday October 4th
