YEARBOOK PHOTOS
It is that time of the year!
Photoshoot location will be confirmed but save the date to make it on time.
Teachers will take their individual pictures at the same time that their class will. FAA and Spanish teachers stop by during the times assigned for Elementary.
BOTELLAS DE AMOR
Movimiento Verde students will provide each class with a bottle for students to collect plastic waste during school. (If your class has already obtained a bottle and started collecting, that’s perfectly fine.)
The main goal is for students to gather plastic waste generated here at school, collecting what they consume in class or from their lunchboxes. Once the bottles are full, the Movimiento Verde students will be responsible for collecting them.
If they want to collect plastic at home it is optional.

5th Grade Community Service to Alfonso Mora Bowen school:
Please make sure you prepare students for the experience, telling them that they will be sharing one or two picture books with the students by reading the story out loud. They may ask comprehension questions too!
Ensure that you go over behavior expectatios for Community Service before the trip.
5th Grade Honor Roll Assembly Monday Feb 24th at 2pm @cafeteria
5th Grade Concert Tuesday Feb 25th 18h30 (Teachers and students be in classrooms 6pm)
Grades 3-5 Student Surveys will take place on week 24 (SCHEDULE TBD)
Important Reminders
AM/PM ATTENDANCE: Please make sure to take attendance at 8am and at noon. Set an alarm so you don't miss this important safeguarding requirement!
TURNING DEVICES OFF: Our amazing IT team advises us that devices should be turned off after being used. If we miss this important step, RAM memory gets full and prevents the devices to work properly. Friendly reminder to leave all devices connected after using them.
DUTIES: Don't forget to wear your vest and to be on time. Phones should be used only in case of an emergency.
MINISTRY SURVERY: Some of you received an email requesting to complete a Ministry Survey. Please make sure you do so and support our school complying to Ministry requirements.
ROUND SWING: Up to 4 students may be inside the basket sitting down (standing up is not allowed due to safety reasons).
1 student pushes. Teacher facilitates turns of 7 minutes if more students want to play.
ELEOT PEER OBSERVATION S2: You are to complete the second peer observation throughout S2. Please upload your observation to Staff Development 24-25
