Progress Report meetings will take place from April 21 - 25 for students with an average grade of BE/AE or D/E, or based on need (professional judgement, check in with Support Team)

Earth Day Celebrations! 🌎
High Schools students from Movimiento Verde are setting up an exciting challenge to celebrate Earth Day. The challenge will take place from April 21st to the 25th. This is what you need to know:
They will share a short video introducing the challenge. Please share it with your Core/ Homeroom students.
On Monday April 21st, they will visit each classroom for 10-15 min to relaunch Botellas de Amor. Thank you for welcoming them and for getting your students on board. Expect them within the assigned times:
2nd GRADE Monday 8am - 8:45
3rd GRADE Monday 8am - 8:45
4th & 5th GRADE Monday 9:30 - 10 (They will visit the students at Specials if needed)
April 22nd: Reducing our Carbon Foot Print:
As a section, we will work collaboratively to reduce our carbon footprint! How?
We will encourage parents, students and teachers to carpool, take the bus or ride/walk to school.
We will ask parents not to send any plastic bottles, wrappers or single-use plastic containers.
In the classroom, we will not use printouts nor paper - notebooks only- and we will avoid the use computers and projectors for the day.
We encourage you to teach at least one lesson outdoors!

Important Reminders
IT Survey : Please complete the following survey so our amazing IT staff can assess our devices functionality HERE
Active Supervision! We know that March is the month with highest incident rates. Please keep behavior expectations high, walk students and maintain lines during class transitions.
Library: Make sure students leave books in the right place after using them. If misplaced, they are to return it to the library front desk.
DUTIES: Don't forget to wear your vest and to be on time. Phones should be used only in case of an emergency. If you have a personal day, you are in charge of finding someone who will cover your duty.
ELEOT PEER OBSERVATION S2: You are to complete the second peer observation throughout S2. Please upload your observation to Staff Development 24-25

The high level musical composition, the moving lyrics, the exciting solos, the inspiring dialogues and the out of this world puppet show, made this concert unforgettable!

4th Grade Mummification Project:
4th graders not only played music and danced this week, they also learned about mummification and invited 2nd grade students to visit their projects!
Congratulations 4th grade LA team! You truly know how to merge creativity with history!
5th Grade Debate
After publishing their Argumentative Research Based Essay, our students participated in a debate, defending the different positions about the use of video games.
