Unfortunate Streets

Watercolor on watercolor paper, 4 x 5 inches

Across the globe, there are millions of people suffering due to a lack of food, shelter, water, and other necessary resources. The required supplies are easy to gain with money. Unfortunately, money is not easy to earn. During my life in the Philippines, I’ve witnessed the vast disparities between social classes to the extent of even seeing mansions built beside slums and squatter areas. This series of art pieces are actual scenes in Cebu, where the poverty in the location can be seen.
