A Frida Kahlo-inspired self-portrait demonstrates the range of influence of different stimuli in our surroundings; such as people, experiences, or places. This piece is similar to “Distinction”, another piece I made that has a similar idea. However, this piece captures the individual interaction with the range of stimuli around us influencing our identity, through a wider scope, through the use of different medium within the piece.
