Assemblage with found objects, 22 x 61 x 8 cm

Plastic pollution is an ongoing issue that we need to raise awareness of in terms of its long term effects. Relating to my theme of interconnectedness and relationships, this piece displays the impact we humans have on our environment. Each jar represents the condition of our environment over time, progressively being more contaminated by plastic to the point that what grows from the polluted soil becomes plastic too.
