This is a portrait of a ballerina girl who is facing her fears each day. Though there are troubles that can make her kneel down, she still looks up. I chose a ballerina as my subject because of their fragility and expressiveness while they are performing. She is showing the world her vulnerability through her wings which at the same time is what can make her fly.
