Multiple types of cultures can be classified as short term or long term oriented. Meaning, some cultures desire instant versus long term gratification. Short term oriented cultures often over consume products without worrying about the detrimental effects it has on our society. With our environment rapidly declining on a negative slope towards destruction, if we don’t act now by the near future no one will be left to give flowers as the world becomes our own deathbed.
