Billie Eilish is a rising pop artist who writes songs based on mental health. Using her as a reference, I aim to visualize and symbolize the fear of acceptance. Based on my experiences, I believe that people don’t accept or discuss mental health-related issues, not out of ignorance, but out of fear. In essence, this piece aims to convey a message suggesting that in order to completely eradicate darkness, you can not bottle your problems and let it consume you, but rather express and talk about them to truly let them go.
