Stingrays in Motion

I was inspired to do this piece because I have always found it fascinating how stingrays move through water so easily. I wanted to capture their fluidity of movement through water, in this art piece. I used driftwood because it comes from the ocean. I also made three main stingrays and they are all different species. How high or low they are with respect to the driftwood is correlated to their species and where they usually stay in the water column.
