Lonely

Mixed media, 36 x 24

I always wanted a sibling. Mainly because most of my friends in class have one. Whenever I arrive home from school, I had to open the dark, empty house and enter it myself. Sometimes I wished someone would be there waiting for me. During the younger days, my parents would be there for me, but as I grew up I had to start being independent. I acted tough outside, but I guess I’m still soft inside.
