The Arts

Art is all around us, it is in our homes, in our places of work or school, it is on our technological devices! What would the world be without art? How do we recognise an art piece? What do different artists use to create their work?

In this semester long course, you will be introduced to thinking critically and creatively about your art, build your foundation skills such as perspective drawing, mixing colours and how to create a successful composition, as well as how to keep a visual diary.

You will get the chance to work in both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional art styles in a variety of art materials such as painting, clay, sculpture design and drawing, just to name a few.
