Within the College community, Japanese has continued to grow with a high level of enrolment and retention. Through a study of the Japanese language, students are exposed to the cultural differences and gain a greater understanding of Japanese people. With strong support from the College, successful partnerships and links have been formed with schools in Japan. Consequently, a thriving exchange program has been established and students who study Japanese in Year 11 are invited to attend a tour of Japan. Through immersion in the Japanese culture, students acquire a greater grasp of the language.
