YEAR LONG ELECTIVE

This course is designed to introduce students to the foundation of the Japanese language and culture. The content of the course encompasses the three learning outcomes using a wide range of experiences and activities. Tasks vary from greetings, learning to count, introductions to learning the basics of the Japanese writing system.

Upon completion of the course students should possess the basic knowledge and skills of Japanese to enable them to undertake further study in Year 9.
