Religious Education in Year 7 is about preparing students for their time at the College by introducing them to the person, the life and the story of Saint Maximilian Kolbe. Born in 1894 Kolbe's courageous story of personal sacrifice and courage sends a very valuable Christian message to our students. His death in 1941 at the hands of the Nazi soldiers in Auschwitz gives students a contemporary understanding of Sacrifice and Sainthood.
