The Poinsettia Panthers and community members Pledge to be a No Place for Hate School! 3rd Grade Teacher, Jessica Fuller, leads the echo of the elementary pledge!
No Place for Hate Members create a kindness chain, whilst they read and recite the pledge to introduce our No Place for Hate Club to their peers. Each link is significant, as the students link their name with someone else who they meet and introduce themselves to.
Students from our No Place for Hate Club paint the N in Kindness Matters sign! We held our club during both lunches so that students could paint pictures, color in Kindness Matters and No Place for Hate worksheets. We held a circle and discussed the importance of kindness being the opposite of hate, and how to choose kindness when we see any hate at school.
Welcome to our No Place for Hate Video Show! Students who have demonstrated outstanding upstanding behavior are our hosts! They interview other upstanders on campus to gain insight into their kindness expertise. Additional upstanders are listed as they deserve specific shout outs! Lastly, we see our hosts take the No Place for Hate pledge for Elementary Schools that are No Place For Hate! Every classroom then viewed the video and discussed the questions and students responses. Some classes even watched the video twice! Our discussions were school wide as the intended audience for this video was the Poinsettia Elementary population of teachers and students. We are so proud to have such impactful voices!
