No Place for Hate Pledge
During a meet the counselor and community builder lesson we talked about Kindness Crew (NP4H) and asked which students were interested. Whoever was interested raised their hands and took the pledge. Open to 1st - 5th.

Scarecrow Competition. Grades 1-5 were asked to meet over 6 weeks to come up with a class idea/them, develop, and execute. Students had to listen without interrupting, practice "awe shucks" when their idea wasn't chosen. Work together (teamwork) and and execute their idea. Champions from Sage Creek supported.

Kindness Week. Students engaged in multiple activities throughout the week celebrating themselves and others. Celebrating our differences and choosing to include.

Waveriders around the World. All students were asked to celebrate their own cultures and the cultures of others. Student were given passports and could take a trip around the world exploring what makes other countries and cultures special. Food, music, dancing, and sports were shared among others.
