REQUESTS DUE BY JULY 31, 2026
Black Rock Trucking. We move your shit.
Black Rock Trucking (BRT) is the OG Transpo dating back to the late 1990's. BRT is the resource that gets your Burning Man department or team items and materials from the San Francisco Bay Area to Black Rock City and back as requested.
BRT also transports art projects, donations, Ranger uniforms and the Greeters publications for the Event.
BRT provides two truck runs in August, staging and loading out of the SF warehouse, one truck run from the Reno warehouse and one truck run from Petaluma.
There is one BRC to SF truck run post event for items that return to SF. If you indicate that your item(s) are returning to SF, they will be included on this truck run. No further action is required. If you have something to return that was not brought out pre-event, then you should choose this truck run.
Departments should have someone available to receive the items at the SF Warehouse on the off-load date.
Please use this form for requesting Trucking Services to and from the SF Bay Area and BRC.
Make requests for Standard Kiwi Crates, which are 40” wide x 48” long with adjustable height.
Make requests for Non-Standard Items.
You can create a single entry for all of your Standard Kiwi Crates, just indicate the quantity of crates.
If you're not sure, you can estimate the number of crates needed.
If your item(s) will not fit in a Standard Kiwi Crate, please choose Non-Standard Item in the drop down.
Please make separate requests and upload a photo for each different Non-Standard Item.
Label each Standard Kiwi Crate and/or Non-Standard Item with Department, BRC Address, Truck Run #, and On-Playa Contact.
The SF warehouse will be open at 10 am on load dates for packing. Contact Rex, on the radio for earlier access.
Your Standard Kiwi Crates and/or Non-Standard Items must be packed and ready to load on the designated load date, at the designated load time.
Requests must be submitted by July 31, 2026.
