This is the space for submitting your team’s meal guarantees (projections) for 2026!
We want to thank everyone for their diligence in estimating meals for 2025. We know that this process of estimating meal needs can be daunting. It is a balancing act of making sure everyone is well-fed but also staying mindful of the waste generated by overestimating your needs, both in terms of food waste as well as financial waste. With all of that said, 2025 was another stellar year for bringing projections even closer to actuals!
You may notice a change in language from “meal projections” to “meal guarantees.” This intentional change reinforces the understanding that each department is financially responsible for their meals. In 2025, we met with many of you to discuss the importance of identifying your team’s actual meal resource needs. In those meetings, we were able to explain to managers how the department charge-back process works and we remain at your service for further explanation of this process.

Find your department tab at the bottom of the sheet
Fill out the GUARANTEE cells highlighted in orange for breakfast (column D), lunch (column E), and dinner (column F) to the best of your knowledge
NOTE: *** Assess any changes to your staff roster and keep in mind that people’s meal needs may change over time. This is an opportunity for your managers to get to know their crews and gain a better understanding of how they utilize meals in the commissary. This information can help you land on a closer estimation of your team’s meal needs. With this information at hand, you are ready to submit your 2026 MEAL GUARANTEES into this sheet.
Unlike other resource requests, Meal Guarantees do not have an approval process. The numbers you submit are the numbers we will use to total meal estimates.
