REQUESTS DUE BY May 1, 2026
DPW Heavy Equipment & Transportation (HEaT) provides trucking service for BMP assets between the playa and nearby locations, including but not limited to, Black Rock Station (BRS), the 360 Property, and other Burning Man Project (BMP) properties in Northern Nevada.
Submitting a request in advance will help HEaT to ensure that assets get where they need to go in a timely way.
HEaT otherwise runs on-demand and will gladly take your call over the radio whenever needs arise.
IMPORTANT!
You do NOT need to request the movement of each shipping container or building in your department's inventory. If you do have changes relating to the movement of these assets, or would like to review the plan for delivery and pickup of buildings and containers, please reach out to ChAos in Slack or at chaos@burningman.org. We will schedule a meeting to confirm the specifc details for each unit in order to gaurantee that HEaT is working from reliable information.
Click the button below to request trucking of materials and supplies to and from the playa.
HEaT moves the following types of STUFF:
Building Materials and other supplies
Large tools and equimpent
Project components (eg. - decks, stairs, towers, trusses)
Trailers - includes untility trailers and semi-vans aka dry vans
BMP vehicles
DO NOT request the following types of service through this form:
Housing assets (we do move these assets, but requests should be routed through the Housing department)
Personal use items (eg. - trailers, housing, vehicles, materials)
Shipping Containers and Buildings (See above guidance)
