Northern Region Carnival Reports

A huge thank you to Kylie Statham (Convenor) and Brad Toole (Principal) and the staff and students of All Hallow's Gulgong for organising a fantastic Northern Region Swimming Carnival. It was a beautiful day and the students swam brilliantly. There was a fantastic competitive atmosphere at the carnival. All spectators complied with the COVID restrictions and had a great day watching the swimming ability of their children and grandchildren.

Thank you to the Gulgong Pool Staff for providing an excellent venue. Thank you to our starter and referee for the professional way they conducted themselves on the day.

We wish all competitors selected in the Northern Team to compete at the Bathurst Diocesan Carnival in Dubbo on Wednesday 10th March the best of Luck.

The 2021 Northern Region Athletics Carnival was convened by St John’s Primary Dubbo on Friday 16th July.

Despite the weather conditions on the day, the carnival ran smoothly with all schools and competitors producing pleasing results. A special thanks goes to each school’s Team Manager, attending staff, parents and carers that were assisting on the day, CEDB Sports Representative Steve Maguire, Dubbo Regional Council and Dubbo Little Athletics club.

Junior Girl: Sarah Murray - St Matthew’s Mudgee

Junior Boy: Ryder McPhee - St Matthew’s Mudgee

11 year Girl: Mads Gaden - St Michael’s Dunedoo

11 year Boy: Joshua Watson - St Matthew’s Mudgee & William Jessiman - St Matthew’s Mudgee

Senior Girl: Amber Thomas - Sacred Heart Coolah

Senior Boy: Wesley Cole -St John’s Dubbo & Riley Edwards - St John’s Dubbo

We wish the very best of luck to all competitors from this carnival that are now part of the Northern Region Team that will compete in the Bathurst Diocesan Carnival on the 13th August 2021. We know that you will do yourself, your school and the Northern Region proud. Mrs Emma Bolton, from St John’s Primary Dubbo will be the Northern Region Team Manager at this carnival.
