BATHURST DIOCESAN CROSS COUNTRY - TUESDAY, 7th MAY 2024

HOSTED BY SACRED HEART CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL COOLAH

When: Tuesday, 7th May, 2024. The backup date will be Tuesday, 14th May 2024.

Rain on the day should not prevent the carnival going ahead, however, lightning in close proximity to the Coolah Golf Course may cause postponement or cancellation.

Registration begins at 10am

Walk the course 10.30am

Events commence at 11.30am

Where: Coolah Golf Course, located behind the Coolah, Sports Club and adjacent to Bowen Oval.

The school selects students to represent at this carnival.

Registration: All competitors must register on the CSNSW Sport Website for the event and paid the $10 levy by 30th April 2024.

Parents will not be allowed in the competition area. 

Age Divisions:

Junior Event 2.0km

• Primary 9 years and under

• Primary 10 years

Senior Events 3.0km

• Primary 11 years

• Primary 12 years and over

Athletes with Disabilities: Any schools that have children with disabilities wishing to compete in the Diocesan Cross Country should contact Steve Maguire for further information regarding categories available prior to the scheduled carnival.

Team Event: A team’s event will be conducted in each division. 

Facilities: Toilets, canteen and changing facilities will be available at Bowen Oval (see attached map for location). Please note that Bowen Oval and Coolah Golf Course are NO SMOKING venues.

Canteen:  A canteen will operate on the day.
