Eastern Region Carnival Reports

Monday 22nd February saw a really good day of swimming at the Eastern Region Swimming Carnival at the Manning Aquatic Centre Bathurst. Congratulations to all competitors. The students were really well behaved and cooperative during the day.

Congratulations to Kevin Arrow, Angela Calvert and the staff of Holy Family Kelso for organising such a wonderful carnival. Everything ran smoothly.

Thank you to the Team Managers and the many Officials for their valued help throughout the day. This is greatly appreciated.

Eastern Region Athletics Carnival - 2021

Thank you to the staff and children from the Eastern Region Schools for all their efforts to ensure we finished the Eastern Region Athletics Carnival yesterday. We had to move quickly through the program as rain was forecast for about 2.00pm. The children were amazing under tough conditions with showers of rain and events being run closer together than normal in an effort to finish the carnival before conditions became dangerous.

Huge thanks to Cassie Toole, Lyndal Marshall & Amanda Reagan O'Regan (St Patrick's Lithgow) for all their efforts before and on the day. Thank you to Alison Hannelly for her efforts with Meet Manager. Thank you to Steve Muller, Matt Knight and the MacKillop Staff (particularly the grounds staff) for all they did to ensure the success of the carnival.

Thank you to all the parents and families who understood that in our current 'COVID" world we couldn't have spectators because the event was on school grounds, At this stage spectators will be welcome at the DIO carnival on Friday 13th August in Dubbo.
