Writing

Today you get to make your recipe! All you need to do today is follow your recipe and post a picture of your finished healthy meal to us on ClassDojo - then enjoy eating it!

As you're making your meal think about the questions below:

Is your recipe clear and easy to follow? How has it been written? What type of words show exactly what to do or how to do something? Would you improve how the recipe is written in any way? How?

Remember by the end of the week you will have written your own recipe, but to write your own you have to see what it's like to use one!

Music/Art

Choose a piece of music, this may be your favourite piece of music or something you've never listened to, it may be classical, pop music, a whole playlist or just one song you choose!

Sit down with a piece of paper and your choice of art materials.

Play the piece of music/ playlist.

As you listen draw/paint/colour on the page and see what the music inspires you to create, maybe shapes, colours, people, landscapes - wherever your creativity take you just go with it!

If you want you can share your artwork with us on Class Dojo, we'd love to see them!

Typing Club

Optional Activity - 5000 press ups challenge!

At a time like this it is extremely important that we keep exercising even though we are inside, it helps us to feel better and keeps us fit and healthy.

With this in mind the school would like you to take part in the 5000 press ups challenge!

DON'T WORRY - you do not have to do 5000 press ups all on your own!

We'd like you to post a video on flip grid using this link:

https://flipgrid.com/439a6b52

The video should be of you doing as many press ups as you can at once (even if it's one or you're doing them on your knees that's great!)

Then we will count all the press ups year 5 have managed and send them on to Sean, hopefully as a whole school we can manage 5000!
