Easter Activities

Tasks for the Easter Holiday

The Easter Holiday takes begins on Monday 6th April through to Friday 17th April. During the next two weeks, we'll not be posting any daily work and we will not be able to respond to your posts or messages.

However, we have provided some activities for you to get on with during the school break (see below). If you find any of the work too difficult, please move on to another activity.

We will be back on Monday 20th April 2020.

Have a good break!

We have selected a text for you to focus on during the Easter Holiday. The focus text is 'Baby Birds' on page 6. We would like you to do the following:

1) Create a glossary for 3-5 words for each text including:

  • a definition of (in your own words)

  • putting the word into a sentence

  • multiple synonyms (words with the same meaning) and antonyms (words with the opposite meaning) for the word

  • a picture, could be from google images or even one you have drawn!

2) Summarise the text.

3) Answer the questions.

Watch the video below for the answers.

Topic

We would like you to spend some time completing your Shakespeare (Macbeth) Digital Learning Journal that you began with Kiel and Tiffany.

If you need to start a new one, the document has been shared with you on Google Classroom.

Please ensure that you include the following:

Create a timeline of the Tudor Era. Include the Kings of Scotland.

Where does Macbeth sit on that timeline?

Research food from the Tudor Era and design a menu for a Tudor banquet.

Optional Activities

Remember to use the BV Cool Stuff website to access learning related to drama, art, dance, PE and much more.

Please also go back and complete any work that you have missed during these last two weeks!
