There were some big time performances from some of the guys, Andrew Nason stood out with wins in the 200 meter dash and 300 meter hurdles, while also being on the winning 4x100 relay team. Colin Lay had a huge PR in the 200 meter with a 23.16, over a second faster than his previous PR.
Colin was happy about the performance that came in poor conditions, saying “The 200 meter went well, and it was nice to PR on senior night even on a long meet in cold weather.” The next meet for the track team will be the Eastern Relays on Saturday in Louisville, for those who qualified.

Boyle County boys competed in the first seasonal outdoor Mercer County All Comers meet and came 3rd out of 10 scoring teams. All the guys did their best as the weather was not on their side, it was windy and cold. Although our boys pushed through it and competed to win.
Our senior Andrew Nason said “The guys team had some great performances and competed well in every event. Our great times and marks are a clear reflection of the hard work put in over the off season.” With that being said, our boys have put it in a lot of hard work to start the season off with such great results. However the job isn't finished yet and the season has just begun.
Boyle county’s next track meet is 04/12/25 at Mercer county.
