On Tuesday, February 10th the Lady Rebels were competing in the State Championship game at Kingpin Lanes in Louisville Kentucky. The singles competition also concluded on Tuesday, February 10th.
The other teams that qualified and competed in the State Championship were Pleasure Ridge Park (PRP), Highlands, Lafayette, Central Hardin, Harrison County, Campbell County, Johnson Central, Boone County, Dupont Manual, Meade County, Notre Dame, Apollo, Mercy, McCracken County, and Eastern.
As they all started competing against each other they made their way to the second round. The teams that were still in were PRP, Central Hardin, Campbell County, Boone County, Meade County, Notre Dame, Boyle County, and McCracken County.
In the second game PRP beat Central Hardin, Boone County beat Campbell County, Notre Dame beat Meade County, and Boyle County beat McCracken County.
In the third game PRP beat Boone County, and Boyle County beat Notre Dame. All the tension was now on both PRP and Boyle. It was down to the last game and this game would determine who will be the State Champion of 2026.
As they competed against each other it ended up to where our Boyle County girls' bowling team finished as the state runner-up (2nd place) in the 2026 KHSAA Girls' Team Bowling State Championship. They fell 3-2 to PRP in the championship match.
Later on when the singles tournament was happening it ended up to where some of our Lady Rebels which were Emma Kondik, Haven Parnass, and Peyton Ramey qualified to compete in it. Peyton Ramey won the 2026 Girls' Singles State Championship title. We are very proud of our Lady Rebels for making it all the way to state because they worked really hard and were focused on doing their best not just for themselves but for their team.

On Saturday, January 17th the Rollin’ Rebels competed in the Baker Bonanza Bowling Tournament at the Bowlarama in Danville Kentucky. The winning team for the boys was Montgomery County because of their final match which was defeating West Jessamine with a final score 3-1.
Montgomery County's performance stats were the team averaged 204 for the day with a high Baker game of 264. The boys teams that placed first, second and third were Montgomery County (1st place), West Jessamine (2nd place), and Trinity High-school (3rd place). Our boys bowling team did not reach the championship final.
Our girls bowling team defeated Montgomery County in the bracket rounds to advance to the later stages of the tournament. Their victory over Montgomery County ensured the girls a spot in the top tier of the tournament bracket. Make sure to stay tuned for the Regional Tournament.

On Friday, January 9th the Rollin’ Rebels had a bowling match against their state rival, Johnson Central. Both the boys and girls did really well against Johnson Central and we are very proud of our Rollin’ Rebels!
It was a very close call with the boys, but Boyle won both games. In the first game between the boys, they scored 1,158 pins and Johnson Central scored 936 pins. The second game they scored 991 pins while Johnson Central scored 975. During the two games the boys got 420 bakers total and Johnson Central got 445 bakers. The total pin falls between Boyle and Johnson Central were 2,569 to 2,356. The final score was 5 to 2.
In the first game between the girls, they scored 1,059 pins and Johnson Central scored 774 pins. The second game they scored 865 pins while Johnson Central scored 892. During the two games the girls got 398 bakers total while Johnson Central got 287 bakers. The total pin falls between Boyle and Johnson Central were 2,322 to 1,953. The final score was 6 to 1.
One of our bowlers, Jake Wilson, said “I believe that we all did really well that night.” Our team did really well working together as a team and trying their best in achieving their way towards another great win. Make sure to tune in for the upcoming Lincoln County Patriot Tournament!

The Rollin Rebels faced the Burgin Bulldogs at Bowlarama! The Boys team was victorious against the Bulldogs, with the end score being 6-1! The matches are bowled in individual games of 8 bowlers and dropping the low score, and then 2 baker, a 5-man-1 game for the total pinfall.
The total pins are the last pin, so in total, you can get 7 points, and the boys had a total pin fall of 2,479. The highest individual scorer was Cade Vega, with scores of 266 and 288; Carson Beldon’s highest scores were 183 and 164, along with Nolan Meade's scores of 183 and 164. Top Bowler Nick Jayne said, “Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection, we can catch excellence.”
Do not forget to turn in for the next Bowling Tournament at the Montgomery County Mini Tournament!

The bowling team competed in the Monday Madness Mini Tournament and did really well. The Boyle Boys qualified 5th out of 13 teams with a score of 995, which showed how hard they worked and how focused they were. Even though they didn’t start in the top spot, they didn’t let that stop them.
In their first match, they went up against Madison Southern and won 2–0. Everyone was cheering them on, and the team stayed calm and confident. In the second match, they faced Russell County and once again won 2–0. By this point, you could tell they were on a roll and getting more confident with every frame.
The championship match was against Madison Central, and it was the most exciting one. The Boyle Boys played their best and won 2–0 again. When the final score was announced, everyone was so happy because they had become the champions of Monday Madness. The team was proud of themselves, and it showed that teamwork, practice, and not giving up really pays off.

On February 26th, the Boyle County Girls Bowling team competed in their state competition at Kingpin Lanes, in Louisville. The Rebels checked in early Wednesday morning and started practicing, going into the tournament they held their heads high with confidence.
Each team bowled one game for qualifying, and the Rebels qualified for 5th place. Moving on, they bowled against the 6th place team, only one place behind the Rebels. Even though that could've been a tough match, the Rebels pulled through with the win and advanced to the semifinals against Graves county. In the middle of the match the two teams were tied 2-2, unfortunately Graves County bowled a 240, and took the win over the Rebels.
Later in the day the girls team moved on to bowl in individuals, the girls were cut into top 8, with Freshman Peyton Ramey being placed first by almost 100 pins!!In the seeding, Ramey was placed 3rd, unfortunately another bowler that placed in front of her took the win.
Despite not winning first, she won runner up in Bowling State! Ramey says, “I'm beyond grateful for the opportunities that Boyle County Bowling has brought me, and extremely proud of everyone who competed at the State Tournament!!” The Rollin’ Rebels had an amazing season, and we are so proud!!

On Thursday, January 30th the boys bowling team competed in the 8th region tournament for teams and placed 3rd. Team one had 645 points and team two had 429 points. As a team, they combined 1074 points and made it to the final four, what an amazing season for the boys.
Also on Friday, January 31st, the boys competed in individuals. Cade Vega placed second with 1117 points and Nicholas Jayne placed fourth with 1077 points. Some other notable scores: Hayden Wrenn placed eighth with 980 points, and Landon Parnass with 529 and placed 17th. The region team was Nicholas Jayne, Cade Vega, and Hayden Wrenn, congratulations!!!

Last friday, girls bowling competed in Regionals and won first place! They started the day out by bowling 3 games, the scores from these games were added together and the top eight bowlers qualified, then moved on.
Soon after every girl in the region was finished with their games, which meant that the top eight competitors bowled an additional 2 games to get seeded. The top girls who were seeded include Peyton Ramey, Haven Parnass, and Emma Kondik. To start off the step ladder, Sophomore Emma Kondik and Freshman Haven Parnass bowled against other participants from Johnson Central, but both unfortunately lost. After, Freshman Peyton Ramey went against a 4th place seed from another school, she phenomenally won and took the state champion title!
Freshman Adalyn Issacs shares her thoughts about how her teammates did, “Both boys and girls fought their hardest to win on Friday, but sadly they can only have one winner in each division. Huge congratulations to Peyton Ramey for being title region champion, and to the others for moving onto state.”
The Lady Rebels will move on to compete in state on Tuesday, February 11th!!

Last Saturday, girls bowling went up against Burgin and West Jessamine at home. The qualifying went amazingly well with three girls getting on the all-tournament team, and a first place qualifying position! Those girls are Shelbi Webb, Peyton Ramey, and Emma Kondik.
The girls had their first round, then afterward went to face Burgin. The Rebels won 2-0, and then headed to compete against West Jessamine. They kept their energy up and pulled out some great games, and the Rebels ended up winning in the end!
The boys team also did well, they placed fifth for qualifying with Cade Vega winning the all-tournament team. The Rebels went against West Jessamine, they had some bad breaks and were then out of bracket play.
Senior Shelbi Webb shares, “Right now we are focused on the future and preparing for regions, to be at our very best. We are dedicated to the sport right now and will hopefully see some positive results with our hard work and determination.”
The Rebels will be competing next weekend in the 8th Region Tournament!!

Last night, at the Danville Bowlarama was a special night for the seniors.
The girls had one match and won 5-2 against West Jessamine! The boys had two matches and lost to West Jessamine 4-3. In the second match, they won 7-0 against Garrard. Hayden Wrenn, when asked his thoughts on how they did, said “Unfortunately we lost the first game but we had an incredible bounce back game against Garrad, we keep on getting better and better.”
The four seniors were asked about their favorite memories of their careers. Olivia Toon said the bus rides held the best memories, while Hayden Wrenn said that having a 300-point game was his best memory. Incredible bowling careers for all four seniors and an amazing regular season! The next bowling match will be the 8th region tournament and they look to keep their momentum going into the postseason.

Last Saturday, both bowling teams competed at Ken Bowl. They all had some amazing results, the Rebels competed in 2 single games and 10 Baker’s games.
The boys finished 2nd out of 22 teams, and the girls placed 2nd out of 14 teams! Shelbi Webb tell us her thoughts on how the team did, she said, “We started pretty strong, we made it to the final round then we had a couple of downfalls on the first game, then the second game they got it from us”
Shelbi also shared how this match will help them later in the season, “Although we did lose this was an excellent learning opportunity, and the ability to work as a team and being able to pep each other up is amazing!”
Sophomore Emma Kondik made the all-tournament team and Shelbi said “I'm very very proud of her!” The bowling team competes next on Saturday, December 14th at Boyle County Baker Bonanza!

Last Monday, both bowling teams faced off against Lincoln County. Walking into the match they felt a little unprepared, but managed to get a win.
Their individual games that they bowled could have improved, but the Rebels gave it their all. However, their baker games were phenomenal and they came out with the win.
Sophomore Emma Kondik says, “Overall the team did not reach it’s full potential, but this is just us getting ready for our upcoming tournament soon.”
The Rebels next tournament will be Saturday, December 7th at 12:00PM.

The bowling team had another impressive weekend as the girls placed 1st and the boys also placed 1st.
Some notable players are Shelbi Webb, who placed 1st in girls singles. Emma Kondik placed 2nd in girls singles. For the boys, Landon Parnass placed 4th in boys singles.
When asked his thoughts on how the team did he said, “I'll be honest we didn’t perform the greatest but we did good enough to get the job done”
The bowling team’s next match is on Tuesday, November 26
against DuPont Manual.

Last night, not only the girls team, but also the boys team won bowling against West Jessamine! The girls bowled 2 single games and won them both, then they moved onto bowl two baker games which they also won. Even though they needed to improve their spares and make better first ball shots, they persevered and clutched the win!
The boys team also started with two single games, which they performed solid on. Then they went into 2 baker games, the first one caused some trouble for the Rebels, but they still won but only by one pin. The second baker game they did excellent and ended up pulling through for the win.
The Rebels next match will be the Burgin Invitational, November 23rd at 10:00am!

Last weekend, the bowling team competed in the kickoff classic in Louisville at the Ken Bowl lanes. The girls did amazing as they advanced to the top 4 finals, and finished in 2nd place. They did amazing! Shelbi Webb finished in 2nd place in girls singles games with 626 series! Also, the boys did amazing too, as they finished in 5th place!
When asked how the boys team did, Caleb Duff responded with “We did amazing and we were so close to qualifying for top 4!”
The bowling team's next competition is on Tuesday, November 19th @West Jessamine!

On Monday October 2nd, both boys and girls bowling competed in a match against Burgin.
The rebels started off with two individual games, but each game they dropped the lowest score. After the two individual games, they played two baker games. Although their baker games could have been improved, the individuals were outstanding. There were several girls who bowled in the 200’s!
The boys bowled the same as the girls, two individual games and two baker games. The boys average score was around the 200’s also!
Overall the Rebels came out on top once again! Freshman Adalyn Isaacs shares her thoughts on the match and says, “Even though we didn’t have very much competition since all of Burgins bowlers are new, we still put in effort to come out with the win.”
The Rebels next match is this Saturday at 9:00 AM!

On October 30th, both boys and girls bowling teams had a great tournament! The teams that they competed against were Johnson Central, Fleming, and Montgomery.
All seven girls bowled a single game, the final score was 1058, which led them to advance to a game against Montgomery. They won, and then moved on to compete against Johnson Central, although the opposing team won the first game, the Rebels came back and won the second!
Freshman Peyton Ramey shares her thoughts on the match last night, “We all played amazing last night, the one game that we lost was just from simple mistakes, but we got back up and pulled through.”
The next match for the Rebels will be November 2nd at 10:00am!
