On Wednesday, the 24th, the girls traveled to Campbellsville Country Club to play in the Region 4 tournament.
The tournament started on Monday, the 22nd, but due to the hard rains, they had to pause the tournament. They resumed their playing on Wednesday, with not as much rainfall, the girls were able to get the rest of the round in.
Sophomore Addison Carr was able to place 7th and earn her spot at Semi-State. Carr stated, “I didn't play my best but was still able to make it through, so I am very grateful for that”. Addison will travel to Calvert City Country Club to play Monday, the 29th

Monday, September 15th, the girls golf team traveled to Anderson County to play the Wild Turkey Trace golf course.
The girls were coming off a good win the previous week. Addison Carr led the team for the win over Anderson County. Carr shot a great 37 +1 on 9 holes. Carr stated, “I'm proud of the way the team played, getting the win. It was good to see Matti and Mackinze play their best rounds.” Junior Mattie Carlson and sophomore Mackenzie Bostick both shot a 45 for their season best.
Coming off the great win over Anderson County, the Girls are playing well at the right time with the Regional tournament coming up next Monday, the 22nd!!

On Thursday, the 11th, the girls golf team traveled to Lebanon Country Club to play against Marion County. The girls were coming in ready to play after not the greatest round over the weekend. But after several days of practice, they were ready to show off their hard work.
Sophomore Addison Carr led the team with a 39, taking second place in the match individually. Carr said, “I was happy with the outcome of the round since I wasn't putting myself in good positions off the tee". Junior Matti Carlson had the next best score for the Lady Rebels with a 46. The Girls are looking good and ready for the preparation of the Regional Tournament on the 22nd at Campbellsville. Make sure to cheer on the Lady Rebels as they advance this golf season!

On Tuesday, September 2nd, the girls golf team traveled to Washington County to play the back nine of Lincoln Homestead Golf Course.
Coming into the Match, the girls had been playing really solid golf. Sophomore Addison Carr led the team on Tuesday, firing a 37. Carr said, “My lag putting was really good and was coming up big for me to play well, but I also think that I kept my head in it and kept good composure, and that's what helped the most." Addison has always kept a positive attitude when it comes to her play in golf and helping out her teammates in between matches.
The Lady Rebels Golf team is continuing to improve as the season progresses. New Head Coach Benji Broadwater has done a great job in his first year as Head Coach and is making this team significantly better. Lady Rebels will play Saturday, September 6th, at Lindsey Golf Course!
