At the end of the course, the students are expected to develop their own level of fitness by exercising at a moderate intensity level for at least 2-3 times per week. Also, the students must perform rhythmic activities and combination of skill and health related fitness with the help of FITT principle.
The topics include defining fitness itself, fitness principle, aspects of exercise and fitness components. Divided into different groups, students were also tasked to perform core exercises for better balance and stability and to train muscles specifically in the pelvic area, lower back, arms and abdomen. Also, the students were tapped to do rhythmic activities in order to improve mobility and cognitive functions.
