Week 35: 6/7-6/11

Hi everyone!

I hope you're all loving this summery weather as much as I am! We only have 14 more wake ups left until summer... time flies!

Here are some things to look forward to:

Menotomy Day-- 6/17: We are still in need of volunteers to support our class during Menotomy Day activities on 6/17 and to help prepare materials for this day as well. Please follow the links below if you're able to help out:

Click here to sign up to volunteer on the day of to help run activities!

Click here to sign up to prepare materials! (We have all the materials and will distribute them with instructions to prep after school by Tuesday!)

This day won't be possible without the support of our community! Thanks so much in advance for volunteering your time and efforts :).

Classroom Book Return: Now that the end of the school year is approaching, I'm asking for all students to look through their houses to see if they still have any books they borrowed from our classroom library. I am missing a number of popular titles and would like to get as many back as possible so next year's students can enjoy them, too. If you find a book with my name written or stamped on the inner cover/pages, please send it to school with your child to return.

Water Bottles: This week is going to be HOT! Please help your child stay comfortable throughout the day by sending them with a reusable water bottle!

Multiplication Facts: One of the end of year math benchmarks is to be fluent in all multiplication facts from x1-x10. Please encourage your child to practice these facts at home with some of our online games (found on Google Classroom). I would also be happy to send home extra copies of multiplication fact cards for quick review, as well-- just let me know!

That's all for now! Have a wonderful week!

Ms. McLellan
