Week 29: 4/26-4/30

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a wonderful April Vacation! It was so nice to be able to see family members I haven't seen in over a year and to meet my new niece! I can't wait to hear about what your families did during your time off, as well!

Here are some things to look forward to this week:

Wampanoag Mural Painting: Before vacation, we started working on plans to make mini murals that will depict what life was like for the Wampanoag tribe during the different seasons back in the 1600s. We will spend time painting these murals Tuesday and then adding small details on Thursday. If you have any paint brushes that you would be willing to let us borrow, please send them to school with your child's initials on the handle. Also, if your child wants to add small twigs, cotton balls, or any other small details to their painting, they may bring those to school, too. I will also have lots of materials for everyone to choose from!

Spring Break Reading Challenge: If your child completed the spring break reading challenge (printed on purple paper in their take home folder) they may return it to school tomorrow or another day this week to earn a prize!

Dreambox & Lexia Core 5: Please continue encouraging your child to work on these apps at home! They provide great review activities that will continue to challenge your child's thinking.

That's all for now! Please let me know if you have any questions!
