Mental Health and Wellbeing

At Trinity Primary Academy, we aim to promote positive mental health and wellbeing for our whole school community and recognise how important mental health and emotional wellbeing is to our lives in just the same way as physical health. We recognise that children’s mental health is a crucial factor in their overall wellbeing and can affect their learning and achievement.

Our role is to ensure that our pupils are able to manage times of change and stress, that they are supported to reach their potential and access help when they need it. We also have a role to ensure that the pupils know how to maintain positive mental health, know what can affect their mental health and how they can help reduce stigma around mental health.

Mental health can be extremely hard to talk about but there is a lot of support available. Here are some useful links for both parents and pupils.
