E-Safety

An active online experience is now a fundamental part of our children's lives, both in and outside school. Teaching our children how to be safe online, is just as important as road safety or stranger danger. Below is an introduction to the concepts of E-Safety, and can be used as talking points with your child. This is area is also for the children so that they can realise why it is important to stay safe online.

Have a look at the excellent safety website http://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/ it has sections for children aged 5-7, 8-10, 11-16 with some excellent videos, as well as resources for parents.

'The Safer Internet Centre - https://www.saferinternet.org.uk/ - is a great site offering information and support in their Advice Centre. There is also a hotline, on which you can contact someone regarding concerns for your children.
