Sixth grade families...
As you know, our fifth and sixth grade classes are going on a field trip to the American Heritage Festival this Friday, November 21st. A field trip permission slip was sent home Friday, November 7th. You may find the permission slip as an attachment on the 6th Grade News page of our grade level's website. We are fortunate to be able to use tax credit monies for this trip which means the fee for each child (and chaperones too) is only $1.00.
We apologize for the late notice on this trip. The fifth grade teachers have been working on the planning since last May, and the trip was just finalized last week. Sixth grade was invited to attend as they recently completed Sing, America, Sing and a study of United States history. *Please Note: Your child will need to arrive at school by 7 a.m. Our plan is to return to school by 5:00pm. (Please note the return time has been changed from 6:00pm to 5:00pm.) Your child needs to bring a sack lunch with them. A snack will be provided.
If you are interested in chaperoning, please indicate your interest on your child's permission slip or send us an email as soon as possible.
*All permission slips must be to your child's homeroom teacher by this Tuesday, November 18th.*
